It is informed that Off - Campus Placement for by Aricent ( http://www.aricent.com ) is  to be held at Chitkara Institute of Engineering & Technology in the 2nd week of March 2010.

Year of Graduation:           2009 pass outs only

Venue:                                   Chitkara Institute of Engineering & Technology
                                                Chandigarh – Patiala National Highway

Date of Placement Process: 2nd Week of March 2010.

Reporting Time: 08:00 am (sharp)

Package: Rs. 20000/- as stipend for the initial six months post and will be designated as Trainee Software/ Test Engineers. After, six months, will be paid Rs 3.5 Lakh p.a. and will be designated as Software/ Test Engineers.

Placement Process:   Written Test followed by the technical and HR interview.

Degree: BE/ B.Tech / ME/ MSc./ MCA/ M.Tech

Discipline: Computer Science, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation& Control, Informatics, Information System, Telecommunication

Minimum Score: 75%& above aggregate in the final year of education. No criteria for 10thand 12th.

Just wanted to clarify that Aricent is looking for the candidates, who are available for joining on 29th March and 5th April’10.

NOTE
Students have to register online at www.chitkara.edu.in latest by 6th March 2010. No entries will be entertained there after.

Training and Placement cell of MIMIT Malout is being managed by a dedicated team. The cell acts as a linker for the Industrial Training and Placement of students. The Training and Placement cell establishes contacts with industrial houses to arrange training and placement of the students. The Training and Placement cell also guides and helps the Final year students in securing jobs with their knowledge and achievements, by organizing campus Interviews and exploring various avenues for their placement. The cell extends all possible helps and provides all available infrastructure facilities to the organizations and their respective officials conducting campus interviews in the college campus. The cell also prepares placement brochure in print and electronic format and further distribution to relevant industry and job providers.
