Further to increase the employability we are making a small effort with the way of Job Fair at our campus on 26th June and 27th June 2010.






Baba Farid Group of Institutions aims at providing 100% job placement assistance to its students as well as to the total student community of Malwa Region with a objective to convert Malwa Belt into a pool of professionals. In order to achieve this avowed aim to provide more job opportunities to the students and for better academic industry under interface we proudly present.






Mega Job Fair






Venue : Baba Farid Group of Institutions Bathinda


Date : 26th & 27th June, 2010.


Timings: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM






This mega event aims at fostering a healthy and fruitful interaction between the students, industry and the corporate sector. The event will provide a common platform to the students to interact with the industry and the corporates will also be able to able to search potential employees from a large talent pool. Thus, there will be WIN-WIN SITUATION for all.






Regarding JOB FAIR, we would like to highlight some points that could be of interest to you:






1. The Participation of the job seekers in the event is Absolutely Free of Charge. However for the recruiters we would be providing arrangements for stay, lodging and other logistical requirements if any.


2. This job Fair is open for all the Graduates & Post Graduate students. Candidates having experience would also be informed about the job Fair through a heavy data base access from various Job Portals. So foot fall of 2000-3000 job seekers with and without working experience is expected during the two day event.


3. The recruiters will be provided a room with the required facilities for the conduct of interviews. Apart from the facility of conducting interviews at the venue of the JOBS FAIR we would also be arranging for the exclusive presentations for the various companies to display their future objectives, products and interact with potential job seekers telling them the kind of skills and abilities they look for in people whom they hire.


4. Aspiring candidates can appear for not more than 4 interviews; hence recruiters are expected to communicate the positions available, their job description and job requirement for the candidates to judiciously choose the four interviews they wish to appear for. All such information will be prominently displayed at the Registration Desk.


5. The recruiters will be required to stay till the end of the JOB Fair as the list of the short listed and the selected candidates will be displayed at the end of the event.

Training and Placement cell of MIMIT Malout is being managed by a dedicated team. The cell acts as a linker for the Industrial Training and Placement of students. The Training and Placement cell establishes contacts with industrial houses to arrange training and placement of the students. The Training and Placement cell also guides and helps the Final year students in securing jobs with their knowledge and achievements, by organizing campus Interviews and exploring various avenues for their placement. The cell extends all possible helps and provides all available infrastructure facilities to the organizations and their respective officials conducting campus interviews in the college campus. The cell also prepares placement brochure in print and electronic format and further distribution to relevant industry and job providers.
