Indian Air Force is going to hold  a Fast Track Selection (FTS) drive for induction into Flying Branch in Officers’ cadre of the air force at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran on 14th and 15th March 2010.

Today, it is the fourth largest Air Force in the world with a highly technical and specialised fighting force that safeguards our skies against enemy invasions. The detailed eligibility criteria would be covered in IAF advertisement that will be released by Indian Air Force in the regional newspapers giving full details of the designated centres, eligibility criteria, application forms and selection procedure etc.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA


FLYING BRANCH

(a)        Age Limit: 19 to 23 years (Born between 02 Jul 1987 and 01 Jul 1991)

(b)        Educational Qualification: Graduates (Three year course) in any discipline including BE / B Tech (Four year Course) in any stream with Minimum 60% of marks in aggregate in all papers put together. All candidates must have passed Mathematics and Physics at 10+2 level through regular schooling.

Note :  Candidates appearing in final year/semester examinations may also apply provided they fulfill the following conditions:-

(i) Candidates should not have any present backlog and should have secured a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together upto the last semester/ year for which results have been declared at the time of applying / AFSB testing.

(ii) Candidates should be able to provide provisional / original degree certificate latest by           15 Jun 2010.


Interested students must contact the placement cell by 9 March, 2010. No request would be entertained thereafter.

Training and Placement cell of MIMIT Malout is being managed by a dedicated team. The cell acts as a linker for the Industrial Training and Placement of students. The Training and Placement cell establishes contacts with industrial houses to arrange training and placement of the students. The Training and Placement cell also guides and helps the Final year students in securing jobs with their knowledge and achievements, by organizing campus Interviews and exploring various avenues for their placement. The cell extends all possible helps and provides all available infrastructure facilities to the organizations and their respective officials conducting campus interviews in the college campus. The cell also prepares placement brochure in print and electronic format and further distribution to relevant industry and job providers.
