·         Type of Company: This is not a "Mass Recruiter Drive", it is a product company.
·         Industry Trends: These days product companies do not take the majority of fresher’s directly on their roles from day 1 due to internal issues, but after the joinees complete 1 year they are shifted to their roles.
·         Cut-Off Percentage: Because these are Product Based core companies the cut-off's are high, in this case it is 70%.
·         Salary: First year salary in the attached JD might not be very motivating for the students, but they need to understand that this is the learning period, but from 2nd year this will be in the range of 4.2 - 4.8 Lacs and the good performers will be shifted on the rolls of the above mentioned Client.
·         Bridge to a Dream Company: Since it is observed that students of our region majorly get opportunities only by Mass Recruiters, this drive could act as a bridge for deserving students to realize their dream of joining a top MNC and work on software development projects.

Training and Placement cell of MIMIT Malout is being managed by a dedicated team. The cell acts as a linker for the Industrial Training and Placement of students. The Training and Placement cell establishes contacts with industrial houses to arrange training and placement of the students. The Training and Placement cell also guides and helps the Final year students in securing jobs with their knowledge and achievements, by organizing campus Interviews and exploring various avenues for their placement. The cell extends all possible helps and provides all available infrastructure facilities to the organizations and their respective officials conducting campus interviews in the college campus. The cell also prepares placement brochure in print and electronic format and further distribution to relevant industry and job providers.
