Fighting Depression

In modern times,one of the most commonly reported health issue is Depression. It is a kind of mood disorder effecting mental, emotional and hence physical health. It exhibits in the form of persistent sadness, periods of over excitement sometimes and repeated episodes of good and bad moods. It hampers with the normal life of a person and limits his/her ability to go about daily activities. It affects very badly, the gut health of the sufferer making it difficult to even enjoy the preferred food items. 

The person going through Depression generally unknowingly indulges into overthinking and negativity. On one moment, that person is quite happy and in up-mood but he/she suffers deep down sadness in the next few moments.

Yes, medication and therapies are there to treat depression. Luckier are the ones who get timely and exactly required medication. It takes time to get rid of it, it can come again and life-long medication is mostly required. However medicine works well only when one becomes mentally tough and devotes time for physical exercise and meditation as well. A high self-esteem needs to be maintained with a bit of daily self-motivation. It is the internal strength 💪 that works wonders in such scenarios. Besides medication, a great deal of self-engaging efforts and life-style changes are required to feel better and stable. Typically, dealing with depression is an ongoing process requiring never give-up attitude towards life. Give meaning to life, set and achieve small goals first, keep busy constructively and live in present.
