Ltd. scheduled at Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology (APIIT) SD INDIA PANIPAT , Haryana  on 8thAugust 2013(Thursday). Participation in the POOL CAMPUS Placement Drive is free of cost. No fee would be charged by APIIT SD India or any third party or agency for registration, participation and selection. 


Note:           To participate in the IBM Drive, Directors, TPOs, Placement Heads are requested to send the data of their students in the attached format.  The data would be sent to IBM office for validation and verification and only those students will be allowed to participate who receive confirmation email from IBM.

Job Profile                     • Providing Voice & E-Mail Technical Help Desk Services support
                                         to IBM Internal End .Users and External Commercial Account End Users
                                         across North America, EMEA & AP. 
                                      • The job will require you to handle inbound calls / emails / chats 
                                          regarding technical issue for end users.
                                      • Remote Infrastructure support delivery
                                     
 • Perform problem cause analysis     
                                      • Resolve routine customer problem
                                      • Ability to Identify Opportunity & Implement Process Improvements
                                      • Has technical experience and skills in the areas of problem determination, 
                                      creativity and analysis.
                                     • Ability to meet a set of defined account agent productivity measurements.

Mandatory Skills            • Fluency In Communications Skills (both spoken and written)  


Desirable Skills

• Understanding of operating systems, Windows2000/NT/XP configuration options and troubleshooting.
• Browser Support - Internet Explorer.

• Ability to identify basic hardware parts and aware of basic hardware concepts.
• User level familiarity with at least one e-mail client -Outlook, Notes etc.
• Skilled in commercially standard software applications and  major desktop operating systems.
 Awareness of basic networking concepts and
   technologies.
• Proficient in network connectivity troubleshooting, TCP/IP,   Dial-up, Token Ring, Ethernet, LAN/WAN.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Neutral accent.
• Questioning skills- probing skills, as relevant to the issue and level of the caller.
